The basics.

What is Been There? +

Been There is a free iOS app for finding restaurants, bars, and cafés in your city. We pull from critics, creators, and trusted sources so you don't have to dig through ten tabs to plan a Tuesday night.

Is it free? +

Yes. The core app is free. There's an optional subscription called BT+ that unlocks unlimited AI search, follow-up chat, and unlimited discover refreshes.

Which cities are covered? +

We're live in a growing list of cities, with more added all the time. Open the app and search where you are — if we're not there yet, drop us a line and we'll let you know when we land.

Is there an Android version? +

Not yet. iPhone only for now (iOS 17+).

How do I cancel BT+? +

Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Been There, tap Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Can I delete my account? +

From the app, Settings → Account → Delete account. Or email us at hey@beenthere.social.

Something not right?

Can't find a venue. +

Try searching by neighborhood or vibe. If still missing, email the name and address and we'll add it.

Hours, address, or info is wrong. +

Tap the venue, scroll to the bottom, "Suggest an edit." Or email us. Updates usually go live within a day.

The app crashed or got stuck. +

Force-quit and reopen. If it happens again, send us your iOS version and what you were doing.
